PORTABLES

Claire Porter's PORTABLES are a series of solo comedic movement monologues performed individually and in concert. Each is typically 12 minutes long and there are typically 5 or 6 PORTABLES in a concert. New to PORTABLES is Namely, Muscles, Claire's one-hour, one-woman, seriously silly play about muscles.

PORTABLES also includes group theater dance pieces scripted and focused on a particular theme and reflecting the uniqueness of the individual's performing theme.

In PORTABLES Claire pulls apart what seems to be normal and then puts it all back together in funny, absurd, touching pieces. These pieces are often performed for special events such as fund raisers, weddings, building dedications, arts council meetings, garden events, art gallery events, music events, university meetings, and more.
